Thanks so much for stopping by my new site! I have so many things I want to share to help you find fulfillment and success in your career and your life in general. I am a wife to an incredibly loving, handsome, sweet man named Wes. We are empty nesters with five grown children between us. We have my two daughters, Savannah and Sealy, and his three… Chase his oldest who is married to Lauren, Lexi his daughter who is married to Scott, and Bridger, his youngest. They are all beautiful people, and we are lucky to have them as family.
In terms of business, my ever-evolving path has certainly been an interesting one. The VERY abbreviated version goes something like this: I went from trial attorney to enthusiastic entrepreneur (owner of several retail boutiques), then added some B&B cottages (a big industry in my town), then opened a B&B reservation service as well. After I met my husband Wes, we decided to open a real estate brokerage, a business I had been turning away for years. If we were going to get married, and he was going to move to my town, he would need to find a new job of course! And he had been working very successfully in selling custom built homes. I had been a licensed agent for years but only used it to negotiate my own deals until Wes came along. The timing was perfect!
In each case I moved into a new business area because I saw a gap… most often a gap in the quality of marketing the business. There were several great B&B services in my town. In fact, I used one of them myself. But I didn’t like the fact that they only took “reservation requests” online. I knew guests wanted to book in real time. The technology was there, so it was time to give guests what they wanted. With real estate, the gap seemed even bigger! Most realtors in our area were doing things the way they always had done them… failing to leverage beautiful photos, personal branding and massive digital marketing. In this day and age, that doesn’t work. We knew the door was wide open; so the Absolute Charm brand expanded into the real estate sales sector.
In a very short time we have grown to 15 team agents and have seen our transaction volume increase more than 150% year over year. Along this journey, we have caught the eye of those in the real estate community, which has broadened my opportunity to share the secrets of our success with others. It has also opened my eyes to the eagerness so many people have to learn, to achieve, to inspire and be inspired. 2018 is the year I will dedicate myself to serving, educating, and motivating as many of you as possible.
As I have often said, I had amazing, hard-working, salt-of-the-earth parents who taught me some practical life lesson every single day. If I leave this earth without sharing as much of that precious wisdom I received as possible, what a waste that would be for future generations!
